While we don’t know for sure if those prices are also for in-store purchases, we do know that it pertains to physical online purchases for PS4 and Xbox One. Sorry PC players; looks like Control is still $59.99 on the Epic Games Store.

From the looks of it, Control is not currently discounted on digital storefronts such as the PlayStation Store or the Microsoft Store. It is also not on sale at Best Buy or GameStop.
In our official review, we said Control marks a new high point for Remedy Games, the makers behind such games as Max Payne, Alan Wake, and Quantum Break.
But we aren’t the only ones praising the game. Control currently has an 81 and an 84 on Metacritic for PS4 and Xbox One respectively, with sites such as EGM, Destructoid, IGN, and GameRevoution giving the game high marks.
